Here's a list to indicate the things that you can masticate
I am so excited now, at the thought of chowing down
This liquid diet was too tough Now I can't wait to chew this stuff
I'll apply my mandible to anything that's edible
Gonna clamp my lower jaw on anything they'll let me gnaw
My liquid diet's through and now I can chew
And now that I can chew well that's what I'm gonna do
The first step in human digestion is the act of salivation
As you chomp and pulverize the food's attacked by your enzymes
And when you've crushed and chewed it all it will form a little ball
This ball is also called a bolus and heads down your esophagus
Since you are not a horse or cow the food can only go straight down
And so the bolus will then drop to the stomach its next stop
It continues on its path through your intestinal tract
Forgive me if i skip the rest but after that it's quite a mess
I can chew chicken tacos bean burritos pork tamales beef taquitos enchiladas chimichangas pinto beans and refritos tater tots chili bowls curly fries dinner rolls collard greens poutine and tuna noodle casseroles eggs benedict with hollandaise sandwiches with mayonnaise scrambled eggs chicken legs and southern pan fried fish filets apple fritters cherry pies watermelon chicken thighs lemon custard honey mustard on my salty waffle fries
I can chew pigs in blankets macaroni corny dogs ravioli salmon steaks vanilla shakes mushrooms with braised abalone beef kabobs cans of spam brussel sprouts candied yams grilled cheese black-eyed peas spiral-cut and flavored hams mushroom pizzas cheese calzones breaded pork chops on the bones fettucini shrimp linguini gelato cups and ice cream cones cheddar biscuits fish 'n chips tiger prawns spinach dips turkey burgers and frankfurters gravy-covered chicken strips
I can chew so much
Although that list of food is ample it is just a tiny sample
of the things I have my sights on that the doc'll let me bite on
If i haven't had enough when i've eaten all that stuff
I'll make up a new collection candidates for my digestion
I live in an exciting new universe of things to chew
eatin' anything that's edible just like a rabid animal
I'll eat all day and eat all night until the break of morning light
Liquid diet gave me the blues but now I can chew anything I choose
